2016 National Asian American Survey
The 2016 NAAS is composed of two waves. Individual-level data from the Fall 2016 National Asian American Survey was fielded from August through October 2016. This survey was supported by grants from the James Irvine Foundation and Carnegie Corporation of New York. We have submitted the data for curation at ICPSR with assistance from the Resource Center for Minority Data. In the meantime, you can download the following from our site:
1. reports and infographics from the pre-election survey,
2. our survey questionnaire,
3. survey codebook and microdata in either STATA or SPSS formats.

Note to 2016 survey data users: The data provided above should be considered beta, with the final version released via ICPSR in spring 2018. Please follow our Twitter account (@naasurvey) for any updates to this dataset, and let us know if you spot any errors.
Individual-level data from the NAAS 2016 Post-Election Survey, which was fielded from November 2016 through February 2017, will be released in February 2017. In the meantime, you can find our survey questionnaire here and results in our reports section. This survey was supported by a major grant from the National Science Foundation, with support for supplemental data collections from the Ford Foundation, California Immigration Research Initiative, and the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation.
